2006 Pine-Richland High School graduate and wrestler Ryan McGarity is being ranked number 23 in the country. He is currently the starting wrestler in the 174-pound-class for the Division I program at Binghamton University in New York. McGarity recently placed sixth at the Penn State Open, where he defeated two-time NCAA national qualifier Ethan Headley from the University of Pittsburgh. McGarity is the first wrestler from PRHS to be ranked in the top 25 in the country. He is the first PR wrestler to become a 4-year varsity starter in Division I wrestling.
