Inbound Fort Pitt Bridge Overhead Sign Inspections Saturday Morning in Pittsburgh

PennDOT District 11 is advising motorists intermittent, short-term lane closures on the inbound (upper deck) of the Fort Pitt Bridge (eastbound I-376) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will occur on Saturday morning, June 11, weather permitting.

Single lane traffic will occur as needed through the inbound Fort Pitt Tunnel approaching the bridge. Work will occur from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday. Crews from Mackin Engineering and the Sofis Rigging Company will be inspecting overhead signs on eastbound I-376 across the Fort Pitt Bridge to the Grant Street off-ramp (Exit 71A).

Motorists should use caution, allow extra time and expect changing traffic patterns traveling through the area.
