Beaver Valley Expressway (I-376) Improvements Resumes in Beaver Count
PennDOT District 11 is announcing work on a $3.7 million project to improve I-376 (Beaver Valley Expressway) in Beaver County will resume weather permitting on Monday, April 25.
The overall project that started in 2010 includes base repair and micro-resurfacing on 18 miles of I-376 from the Allegheny County line to the Chippewa interchange (Exit 31). Work will conclude in early summer 2011. The prime contractor is the Russell Standard Corporation.
Beginning on Monday, single lane traffic in each direction will occur weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. through late June. All ramps will remain open at this time. Some weekend work may also occur as needed. Restrictions will occur in 3-mile sections and move as work progresses.
